The Legacy of a Quiet Master

Edgar Louis Yaeger studied under some of the most renowned European and American artists of the twentieth century. Yaeger's working life extended for more than six decades; his work is in many of America's leading collections, and has been exhibited from coast to coast in some of the country's most prestigious institutions, including the Museum of Modern Art.

From his studio, Edgar Yaeger watched major artistic movements come and go, watched styles wax and wane. From each, he took what he found useful, abandoned what was superfluous, and combined concepts and techniques into an inimitable style of his own, all the while maintaining a master's dedication to craft.

His legacy:
A body of work bursting with color, inspiration, and life.
